My Favourite T-Shirt is a 2.5D side-scrolling platformer video game aiming to create awareness among young people about water scarcity and pollution caused by Fast Fashion.


The Story

The plot takes place in Uttar Lakadee, a fictional village with a long history of making wood carving stamps for traditional textile printing. In this small village, the fast fashion industry has turned local life into a nightmare. Rivers and aquifers water are poisoned, the air is thick with smog, and homes are buried under mountains of cloths waste.

 

Gameplay

You play as ‘Acerico’ (pincushion), a wood carving stamp apprentice and former fast fashion factory worker, whose mission is to restore environmental balance while reinventing local industry practices.

Game Levels

Seeing Uttar Lakadee gradual transformation into a wasteland has broken your heart. Your brave decision to scape the factory wasn't easy and will be full of obstacles.

2.5D Platformer

• Watch out for giant threads, bales of clothes and killing sewing machines!

• A pin cushion companion over your head will tell you how much time you have left before the mission is aborted. Pins are important!

Escape the Factory wheel in motion

• With a little practice,  jumping and falling the different platforms will lead you everywhere in the game! It's probably the most fun part of the experience.

About the work

Woodcarving Master

• The Master holds and ancient secret hidden within the Magic Wood Block. It will help you to progress within the game.

The Eco-Friendly revolution

Now that you have completed your missions, Fast Fashion is no longer a problem in your village but keep the evidences, so that history does not repeat again.

 You need to keep track of evidences of water extraction and bad environmental practices

Its playful and imaginative approach to the problem provides key information about sustainable practices in the textile industry ranging from returning to eco-friendly traditional printing techniques, to replacing chemicals for natural dyeing, to the benefits of recycling and donating clothes and garments.
